About the Festival
Wednesfield Canal Festival is a collaboration between community group Hands On Wednesfield, local businesses, the City of Wolverhampton Council and the Canal and River Trust, aimed at creating a sense of togetherness and promoting the unique charm of Wednesfield’s canal.
You can look forward to a wide range of activities and attractions, with something for everyone to enjoy.

Floating Market
Explore a vibrant marketplace as boaters from across the region transform their boats into charming storefronts, offering a delightful array of food, arts, crafts, and handmade goods. It's a unique shopping experience not to be missed, so why not treat yourself?
Land Market
Discover a variety of local organisations promoting good causes, alongside traders selling an assortment of goods. From unique finds to community initiatives, there's something for everyone at the festival stalls.
Family Fun
Bring the whole family for a day of fun-filled activities! From the thrilling rides at the Harry Jones funfair to face painting and more, there's plenty to keep your young ones entertained while creating lasting memories for everyone.
Live Music
Get ready to groove to talented local artists and bands on the festival's music stage, curated by DJ Neil Jackson. With an eclectic mix of performers, the line-up promises to keep you entertained and dancing throughout the weekend.
Food & Drink
Indulge in delicious treats and refreshing drinks at The Nickelodeon pub, serving up a mouth-watering selection of food and beverages all weekend. And remember, it’s never too hot for a carvery!
